Your Hour Her Power is our online fundraising campaign held in conjunction with International Women's Day this year. It runs throughout the month of March 2021 at

The idea is a simple one - to give just 1 hour of your salary to help another woman achieve economic independence.

In Singapore and around the world, women are bearing the brunt of the COVID19 disruption. "Women, in particular, have been disadvantaged because they are disproportionately represented in the retail and food and beverage sectors", said Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam at a dialogue at the Singapore Summit last year (The Straits Times, 14 September 2020).

The impact on our clients is particularly serious as many are among the most economically vulnerable in Singapore. Our client survey in 2020 showed that 66% lost their job or suffered income loss, while 75% are experiencing financial hardship.

Your donation to Your Hour Her Power will help women like Emy access our programmes, services and tools to help her gain employment and change her life for the better.

After attending interview coaching with us, Emy understood the importance of dressing professionally and setting up a digital interview properly to create a good impression. With this, she secured a job in administration.

So this March, please pay it forward for another woman by giving just 1 hour of your salary. Help her secure employment to create a better life for herself and family.
